David L. Boren Scholarships and Fellowships

Looking for financial assistance to study abroad?

Hannah Grossblatt, from the Institute of International Education, will be speaking with interested students about the David L. Boren Scholarships (for undergraduates) and Fellowships (for Graduate students). 

When: Tuesday September 9 
                --Undergraduate session: 2:00-3:00 pm
                --Graduate session: 3:00-4:00 pm
Where: Red Gym, On Wisconsin Room A

Boren Awards provide a unique funding opportunity for U.S. students to study world regions critical to U.S. interests (including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East). The countries of Western Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are excluded.



U-W Madison's campus application deadline for the 2015-2016 undergraduate scholarship program is December 5th, 2014. Undergraduates should contact Matthew Geisler (mdgeisler@studyabroad.wisc.edu) for more information.
