In this course, students will learn:

The course is a mix between large lectures
and hands-on labs where students will develop a career portfolio that will give
you a distinct edge when learning how to take advantage of your undergraduate
experience as you prepare for internships, jobs, graduate school, and other
opportunities.
In this course, students will learn:
- Why a liberal arts degree is valuable for their personal and professional development
- What career development is and how to apply it to their daily lives
- What strengths they have and how to develop practical skills in and out of class
- What employers are looking for when hiring interns and employees
- Strategies for researching companies and organizations
- How to apply and interview for an internship
