Teach for America
Teach for America is a national nonprofit organization that works to recruit recent
college graduates as well as people from any sector to work in an
underserved, low-income community as public school teachers
for a period of two years in 1 of 50 different locations across the
United States. They are looking to close the education gap in this country
and believe that UW-Madison students are instrumental in this cause.
