functions?
Are you thinking about applying for professional programs
in healthcare?
Would you like to meet professionals and learn about
their career backgrounds and interests?
Want to meet many UW alumni and shadow them in their
occupations?
Want to meet UW alumni that are enrolled in various
health programs?
Interested in possible internship and job opportunities
at an employer?
If you have these questions and more, then consider doing
a job shadow experience!
Job shadowing will help you learn more about careers of
interest, and also help you with your career exploration, goals and
options.
You will able to connect with organizations in Wisconsin,
all over the U.S. and internationally, to learn more about a work setting,
observe and/or participate in various work functions, and learn about various
types of career opportunities that might be available.
You would also have the chance to connect with current
students that are enrolled in professional programs in healthcare!
You are responsible for your own transportation to and
from the organization.
Some arrangements are available via Skype or phone/teleconferencing/email
when in-person visits are not possible.
In addition, these opportunities may also be available
after Spring Break if it is not possible to do them during Spring Break
week.
If you are interested in participating in the Spring Break
Job Shadow Program, please do the following two steps:
1.) Review the list of organizations that have shadow
opportunities available HERE.
2.) Register HERE.
