The L&S Honors Program is looking for Honors Peer Advisors for SOAR 2017

The L&S Honors Program is looking for student Peer Advisors to join the team! Peer Advisors work in a dynamic team setting with a professional academic advisor to provide one-on-one and small group advising related to academic and co-curricular life at UW-Madison.  As a peer advisor, your will work during SOAR to present information and assist first-year students individually and in small groups. You will work alongside other professional staff to help students better understand the Honors Program and explore a range of academic options, select, and enroll in courses. Peer Advisors can expect to work 20-35 hours per week at an hourly wage of $10.50 per hour.  We are looking for students who meet the following criteria:  Completed two full semesters at UW-Madison by the end of spring semester, 2017. 19th Annual Undergraduate Symposium

The Annual Undergraduate Symposium is a forum designed to showcase undergraduate students' creativity, achievement and talent across all disciplines through oral presentations, poster sessions, exhibitions, film shorts, artist talks, and performances. The Undergraduate Symposium is open to all University of Wisconsin – Madison students enrolled during the 2016-2017 academic year, including those who are graduating in December. If you are engaged in research, service learning, fine art and performance, take advantage of this opportunity to present your work to the campus community and public-at-large. And please consider attending the Symposium even if you are not presenting. Presentation formats include work in performance, video/film, art talks, poster presentations, and oral presentations.
