U-CLaSS Chat: The Top 10 Mistakes Instructors Make on Exams

When: Thursday, October 20, 2:30-3:30 p.m.
Where: Chadbourne Main Lounge
What: U-CLaSS chats bring students and faculty together to talk about shared challenges and opportunities in teaching & learning. Chats are designed to allow students to share their experiences and perspectives with faculty. Faculty play a listening role, hearing from students about what works and doesn’t work both inside the classroom and beyond.

This U-CLaSS chat will focus on gathering student feedback about examinations. Help us develop a top ten list of mistakes instructors make in their exams. Top ten positive things instructors do regarding exams are also welcome! Your suggestions will be published on the UW-Madison Teaching Academy website and shared with instructors across the campus, anonymously of course.
