Do you or someone you know have time available Tuesday and Thursday mornings or afternoons? Would you like to help Madison area youth? If you answered yes to both of those questions, sign up to become an AVID tutor!

What does a tutor do?
Tutors work with students in the AVID elective class Tuesday & Thursday mornings or afternoons during the school day. They facilitate small, collaborative, student-led study groups and work to develop critical thinking. 

Are they paid?
Yes, if you're looking for extra money, we pay our tutors $10-12/hr. 

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in college or have already obtained a Bachelor's degree
- Some previous experience working with youth
- English and Spanish fluency highly desired
