Come enjoy dinner and a book discussion on this year's Go Big Read with Honors Program Director Sabine Gross!
Join Honors Director Sabine Gross for a complimentary dinner and a discussion on Hillbilly Elegy by J.D. Vance, this year's Go Big Read. Honors students are invited to this unique event before the campus-wide event at the Memorial Union Theater at 7 p.m. Following the dinner and discussion at the University Club, students are welcome to walk over to the campus-wide event as a group.

Please join us to share food and thoughts with other Honors students. We hope you will have read the book, but that's not a requirement. If you have read all of parts of it and would like to participate actively, Sabine Gross invites you to do the following in preparation: identify a passage that resonated with you strongly, a quote that you liked particularly, or a statement that you disagree with. If you do not yet have a copy of the book, feel free to stop by Washburn Observatory during business hours to pick up a free copy.
Around 6:20 p.m. we (anyone who has time and interest) will walk over for the large-audience panel discussion in Union theater.
