New Tool for Advising Appointments

Transition to Starfish for Honors advising appointments.

Starting this semester, students can view the availability of Honors advisors for appointments and drop-in advising all in one place! The Honors Program is using a new tool called Starfish, which you can find in MyUW. For general information about using Starfish, click here.

In Starfish, you can view the availability of all Honors advisors at once by selecting the Letters & Science Honors Program under “Services.” If you know you’d like to meet with a particular advisor, you can choose to view that individual’s calendar, as well.

Over the course of the spring, more advising units on campus will be transitioning to Starfish, and the Scheduling Assistant tool will no longer be supported.
