Wisconsin in Washington, DC Internship Program

Students of all majors seeking internship opportunities for UW credit in Summer and Fall 2018 can apply to the UW Wisconsin in Washington, DC Internship program. This program combines the efforts of previous UW internship programs offered in Washington, DC by the International Division and the Political Science Department. The semester program options include 3 courses plus an internship, totaling 12 credits. A wide range of internships are offered in government branches and agencies, non-profits, policy, advocacy and service organizations, media, marketing, international development, global health and more. This is also a fantastic opportunity for students to make meaningful connections with UW alumni in Washington, DC while networking with other professionals affiliated with the program. Start planning your study abroad adventure at the   Study Abroad Fair   on Wednesday, September 13 from 1:30 to 6:00pm in Varsity Hall at Union South! About 25% of UW-Madison undergraduates study abroad.   The best part? You can earn in-residence UW credit so you can take classes that count toward your degree. Don't speak another language? Brittingham Viking Scholarships

The BVO is an organization that provides scholarships for students from UW-Madison to travel and study abroad in Scandinavia and vice versa. Our scholarships not only give recipients the opportunity to live and learn in Scandinavia, but to also become a part of an international "Viking" family. Our deeply-rooted alumni networks throughout the US, Scandinavia, and the world make the BVO a unique and lifelong community.  We are currently accepting applications for our four scholarships to study abroad in Oslo, Norway at the University of Oslo International Summer School and Copenhagen, Denmark Copenhagen Business School during the summer of 2017. Students will get the opportunity to live and study in Oslo or Denmark, and travel across Scandinavia to meet other BVO alumni.
