Careers in Education/Research for Bioscience Majors
We're excited to announce a pilot lecture series entitled Careers for Bioscience Majors this semester. The series of three lectures will focus on careers undergraduates majoring within the life sciences could pursue after completing their bachelors degree. We try, when inviting guests for the panels to find panelists with UW-Madison backgrounds to aid in the networking for alumni from campus.
The inaugural event is Thursday, February 21, from 5:30-7:00p.m. The event will be taking place this month in the Biotechnology Center Auditorium (425 Henry Mall).
From 5:30-6:00 students can enjoy snacks and network with fellow undergraduates and the panelists. From 6-7, we will have a moderated panel discussion about the fields represented by the panelists, with audience questions highly encouraged. Advanced registration is requested.
