Navigating Washington: A Conversation on Internships and Federal Careers

Join the History Department's David Rodriguez in discussing internships and career opportunities in Washington, D.C. Mr. Rodriguez recently served as the Assistant to the Senior Advisor for Hemispheric Security Policy in the State Department's Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs. He has spent the past three years organizing seminars and workshops for students around the country interested in public policy careers. This one-hour session will explore specific opportunities in the think-tank, non-profit, and federal government sectors. No registration is required. Open to undergraduates of ALL majors. Information Session on the U.S. Department of State Internship Program

Come learn about the U.S. Department of State Student Internship Program. This session will focus on the nuts and bolts of the application process and tips for writing a top-notch personal statement. Former State Department interns will be on hand to discuss their experiences working in Washington, D.C. and U.S. embassies abroad. No registration is required. Open to undergraduates of ALL majors.
