Exploration Center is hiring two Peer Mentors

The Exploration Center for Majors and Careers (EC), part of the Cross-College Advising Service, is seeking undergraduates to work with students exploring majors and careers. Career Peers assist students with career exploration. Job duties include helping students navigate the EC resources, as well as scheduling appointments, answering phones, filing, and other projects as assigned. 

We seek Career Peers who represent our student population in age, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, ability, city/state/country of origin, and major, including those with a declared major and those still deciding. ALL are encouraged to apply.

This position is available for Fall 2013 and may continue into the spring with satisfactory performance. Career Peers work 7 to 12 hours per week, between 8:15 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Some weekday evening hours may be required. Applicants must be available for training August 19-23, 2013.
