Legal Scholar Lecture
Come hear Phi Beta Kappa visiting scholar Professor Lee Epstein speak about our government in a lecture titled, "The U.S. Supreme Court Today - And Tomorrow." This will take place Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in Lubar Commons, Room 7200.
Lee Epstein’s interests center on the U.S. Supreme Court, judicial behavior, constitutional courts abroad, and constitutional law. At USC, she is Provost Professor of Law and Political Science and holds the Rader Family Trustee Chair in Law. She previously taught at Northwestern and Washington University. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the American Academy of Political and Social Science, past president of the Midwest Political Science Association, and a former chair of the Law and Courts Section of the American Political Science Association.
She has authored or coauthored over 100 articles and essays, as well
as 14 books, including The
Choices Justices Make, Constitutional
Law for a Changing America, The Supreme Court Compendium,
Advice and Consent: The Politics of Judicial
Appointments, and, just published, The Behavior of Federal Judges. She is co-editor of the Journal of Law, Economics,
& Organization.
