Working Class Student Union Performance

On November 8th, the Working Class Student Union will host a performance and panel to examine student debt and "for-profit" colleges. At 8:00 p.m., Aaron Calafato, activist and theater performer, will perform his solo-portrayal play, FOR PROFIT, examining the exploitation of the American college student and the $1.2 trillion student debt crisis. It tells the story of how he was forced to work as an admissions adviser at a for-profit institution in order to pay off his student loans. The play will be followed by a panel discussing student debt and the increasing cost of college.

This event is co-sponsored by the WUD Committee on Society & Politics, the Bipartisan Issues Group, the Labor and Working Class Studies Project, and the Havens Center.
