UW Flash Fiction Picspiration Challenge
UW Flash Fiction, an online publication run through the WUD Publications Committee is looking for submissions to their very first Picspiration Challenge.
UW Flash Fiction is an undergrad-run student organization which is devoted to short form fiction and poetry both on stage and on paper.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, which is perfect, as you have only a thousand words to work with in March's Picspiration Challenge. UW Flash Fiction is looking for poetry or flash fiction submissions in response to the image found on their website: HERE.
Does this stir the evocative language within you ? If so, send in your piece for publication.
All students are eligible. Please follow the instructions on their submission page and append your submission with a [Pic] tag. There is no limit to the amount of work that you are allowed to submit, so feel free to inundate us with your words.
The submission period ends March 18th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced the following Monday.
Deadline extended to Wednesday, March 25th 11:59 p.m.!
In addition, they are always accepting general submissions. Please send any other poetry or prose that you feel warrants publication in UW Flash Fiction.
