Join GOAL (Getting Off-campus Adolescents to be Leaders)

Join a leadership project! GOAL was started by an Honors student and works to help Madison middle-schoolers achieve their goals.

Here is what the leaders of GOAL had to say:
Do you enjoy working with kids? So do we! GOAL stands for Getting Off-campus Adolescents to be Leaders. Our mission is to teach middle school student the public speaking skills they need to become great leaders and professionals. We currently volunteer once a week at St. James School, not far from the UW campus. We also plan field trips with the middle school students to give them opportunities to explore the campus with a group of college students. Lastly, we host awesome socials that allow people in GOAL to get to know each other better and build new and lasting friendships. If you're looking for a student organization at UW-Madison that will allow you to work closely with middle school students, find a new group of amazing people, and improve your leadership skills outside of the academic setting, you should check out GOAL.
