Center for the First-Year Experience Internships

The Center for the First-Year Experience is currently hiring a diverse team of intern-level student leaders for the upcoming year! We are looking for undergraduate students who have a desire to represent the university and support the transition of all new students to UW-Madison. These leaders will have the opportunity to work with various programs, including SOAR, Wisconsin Welcome, the Wisconsin Experience Seminar, the communications team, and the Transfer Transition Program. We will also be posting our entry-level positions (including Orientation Assistants, Undergraduate Teaching Fellows, Transfer Ambassadors, and New Student Leaders) within the next few weeks.

Most intern applications are due online by noon on Friday, October 28, and the positions include:
  • SOAR Operations Interns (includes former SOAR Advising Intern position)
  • SOAR Programming Interns
  • Academic Engagement Intern
  • Transfer Initiatives Intern
  • Social Media Intern
