December 2017 Graduation Checks

Planning to graduate in December 2017? The L&S Honors Program will be hosting graduation checks at the Honors Program Office in Washburn Observatory during the last week in April. Please stop in to make sure that you are on track to complete your Honors in the Liberal Arts (HLA) degree requirements:

• Tuesday, April 25, 3-4:30 PM
• Friday, April 28, 2-4 PM

These will be drop-in sessions so there is no need to call or schedule an appointment in advance; just show up and we will be happy to chat with you. We hope that you will stop in so that we can make sure that you are all set to graduate!

If you have not yet applied to graduate in your Student Center, please do so. Applying to graduate will include you on several directories across campus including: the commencement program, graduation regalia offers, and other contact lists. If you are unsure of how to apply, the Office of the Registrar has an instruction page detailing the process.

Please note that if you are pursuing Honors in the Major (HM), we also encourage you to check-in with your departmental advisor to verify that your current enrollment will satisfy all outstanding requirements.
If you are not planning to graduate with an L&S Honors degree track (Honors in the Liberal Arts, Honors in the Major, or Comprehensive Honors), please complete the Honors withdrawal form and return it to the Honors Program office in Washburn Observatory. This is a very simple process, and doing it now will keep you from receiving a graduation deficiency notice as your graduation approaches.

Planning to graduate in May 2017? Please apply to graduate as soon as possible. The campus-wide deadline was March 31, 2017. Students who apply after the deadline may not be included on critical communications or the Commencement Program.
