Writing Groups for Publication
This peer workshop is intended for advanced undergraduates interested in revising and publishing their final papers or research projects in undergraduate journals. Under the guidance of an experienced doctoral-level teaching assistant, undergraduate students enrolled in this workshop will receive ongoing support as they work through the stages of publication, from selecting a target journal to revising their drafts. Participants will attend an orientation and meet weekly with a group of their peers to receive feedback on their progress. Thesis Writing Groups
The
Writing Center organizes small, student-led groups that bring together senior
thesis writers from across the university. At welcoming and relaxed weekly meetings,
seniors will share and discuss their research, drafts of their thesis, give and
receive feedback, and hold each other accountable for making progress. A
Writing Center instructor will attend the initial meeting for each senior
thesis writing group, help the group decide its goals and meeting schedule, and
be in touch with the group over the course of the academic year to offer advice
and support. Consistent participation from each group member is key to a
productive and enjoyable writing group experience.

research for your senior thesis or you've already begun drafting, this workshop
