December Graduation Reception
Graduating this December?
You and your guests are invited to attend the L&S Honors Program reception from 3:30- 5:00 p.m. in Washburn Observatory on Saturday, December 16.
Please let us know if you plan to attend. Visit go.wisc.edu/honorsgrad or call our office at (608) 262-2984, preferably by December 8. Remarks will begin at 4:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
Invitations
The Honors Program plans to send a paper invitation for the Honors Program reception, addressed to your family, to your MyUW home address. If you would prefer that we not send an invitation to you home address, simply reply to this email. If other loved ones will be celebrating your commencement that weekend and you would like for them to receive a paper invitation to the Honors reception as well, please contact the Honors program by emailing honors@honors.ls.wisc.edu.
Regalia
To be recognized as an Honors candidate at the university-wide commencement ceremony on Sunday, you should wear the Honors stole (white the three cardinal bars) with your cap and gown. The stoles will be available at the University Bookstore. You will be required to pay a $25.00 deposit for the use of the stole. $20.00 of the deposit will be refunded when you return your stole to the Bookstore after commencement.
