The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui by Bertolt Brecht:

"A parable of corruption, power, and danger – a provocative and entertaining reimagining of the rise of the Nazi power in Germany is transposed to gangland Chicago. Small time hood Arturo Ui climbs the ladder of authority, intimidating businesses and removing inconvenient obstacles through any means necessary. A satire of authoritarian impulses with all too relevant messages for today’s world."
