Wisconsin Experience Bus Trip

The Wisconsin Experience Bus Trip (WEBT) is an opportunity for student-leaders to explore the state and to discover the Wisconsin Idea.

Throughout the free, five-day bus trip, students will be immersed in Wisconsin culture, learn from the experiences of unique Wisconsinites, and create connections between various student organizations.

Brennan Bahr, a WEBT-alum, was taken aback by the range of communities he encountered with WEBT. “I’ve been a life-long Wisconsin resident, so I was surprised when we visited communities in Wisconsin I had never heard of before. It was an eye-opening experience.”

Ziheng Zhang, an international student, also used WEBT as an opportunity to see more of the state. “Since coming to UW-Madison, I have always been in this bubble, and I never really had the chance to see beyond that bubble—to see Wisconsin, to see the US—until WEBT.”

Participants will depart from Madison on May 14 and return on May 18. The deadline to apply to WEBT has been extended to March 23. (THIS FRIDAY)
