Graduating in December? Grad Check Drop-Ins
Planning to graduate in
December 2018? The L&S Honors Program will soon be hosting graduation
checks at the Honors Program Office in Washburn Observatory during the first
week in May. Please stop in to make sure that you are on track to complete your
Honors in the Liberal Arts (HLA) degree requirements:
If you have not yet applied to graduate in your Student Center, please do so. Applying to graduate will include you on several directories across campus including: the commencement program, graduation regalia offers, and other contact lists. If you are unsure of how to apply, the DoIT graduation tutorial will show you exactly what you need to do.
Please note that if you are pursuing Honors in the Major (HM), we also encourage you to check-in with your departmental advisor to verify that your current enrollment will satisfy all outstanding requirements.
If you are not planning to graduate with an L&S Honors degree track (Honors in the Liberal Arts, Honors in the Major, or Comprehensive Honors), please complete the Honors withdrawal form and return it to the Honors Program office in Washburn Observatory. This is a very simple process, and doing it now will keep you from receiving a graduation deficiency notice as your graduation approaches.
Planning to graduate in May 2018? Please apply to graduate as soon as possible. The campus-wide deadline was April 4, 2018. Students who apply after the deadline may not be included on critical communications or the Commencement Program.
The Honors Program Advising Team is available to answer any questions as graduation approaches.
