WI Ideas Conference Application

The WI Ideas Conference is an academic conference run by students, for students, here in Madison each spring. This year, we are accepting both undergraduate and graduate students. 

Details: The conference will be held from April 12-14, 2019. The application deadline is January 26th, 2019 -- however, students should be aware that we ask them to include a 200-word abstract for a policy memo. The expectation is that each student will draft this policy memo in the months before the conference, and that we will publish them in the fall edition of Sifting & Winnowing, an academic journal here at the University of Wisconsin. Beyond publication, students will also have the opportunity to earn scholarships and network with a number of experts and professionals.
