Honors Senior Thesis Summer Research Grant

The Honors Senior Thesis Summer Research Grant enables students to undertake more demanding and extensive senior thesis research projects than might otherwise be possible. Besides recognition of an excellent thesis proposal, award recipients are provided an award of up to $3,000 to cover research-related expenses. These resources may enable students to travel to archives or research sites, or to initiate other research activities that require special funding. Please attend one of the Senior Honors Thesis Information Sessions in the Washburn Observatory conference room  to learn more about the grant and about the senior honors thesis in general. Attendance at one of the workshops is not required, but can help with the process. 2017 Leadership Trust Award

Do you have a great idea to enhance the UW-Madison campus and/or the larger Madison community? Apply for the L&S Honors Leadership Trust Award! The Leadership Trust Award provides up to two students with an award equal to two semesters of resident, full-time tuition plus project funds up to but not to exceed $3,000 as justified in the submitted project budget. School of Education Application Info Sessions and Writing Workshops

For those applying to limited enrollment programs in the School of Education, there will be information sessions about the application process for Kinesiology & Athletic Training and for Teacher Education programs. The Writing Center will be facilitating two essay writing workshops, as well. Students applying to professional programs with a February 1, 2016, application deadline are encouraged to attend these workshops on the application process and essay writing. No registration is necessary and all interested students are encouraged to attend.
