Tropical Ecosystems: Andes to Amazon Study Abroad

Explore and study the richest ecosystems on earth during this month-long field course in Ecuador! Learn principles of tropical ecology and gain hands-on on experience with field techniques including bird netting, primate behavior, GIS/GPS and more.  Meet rare and endangered wildlife face-to-face.  Explore the Amazon rainforest, the Andes and the Pacific coast, and join ongoing conservation projects while on this unique educational expedition.

The program runs from May 27 to June 24 and students will receive 4 UW credits (Botany/Zoology 460).

Applications are due Friday, March 1.
