Registration for Badger Volunteers is open

Registration for the 11-week spring semester program with Badger Volunteers opened Tuesday January 20! Enrollment closes January 29, so don't delay!

Students register for a community nonprofit site of their choice and volunteer with a team of students at that site, at the same time, each week for an entire semester. Orientation, training and transportation are all provided by the Badger Volunteers program.

Volunteering is weekly from February 9- May 1.

It’s important that students understand they need to find a site and time that they can stick with every week for the full spring semester.
Badger Volunteers opportunities fall into three categories: Education, Sustainability and Public Health. Though there are opportunities for any interest.

Unique volunteer opportunities available include:
* Refurbishing used bikes to provide access to biking in low-income neighborhoods
* Addressing food insecurity by being a Community Supported Agriculture Farm helper
* Singing karaoke and socializing with adults with developmental disabilities
* Engaging kids and teens in fun physical activities in a safe environment
* Tutoring at local elementary, middle and high schools
* And many more….
