87th Annual Student Art Show Call for Artists

The Wisconsin Union Directorate Art Committee is accepting submissions for the 87th Annual Student Art Show! Currently enrolled UW-Madison students (undergraduate, graduate, and special students earning credit(s) towards a degree) of ALL majors are encouraged to submit original artwork for consideration.

They are looking for student artists from all areas of the UW-Madison campus, working in all types of media. It is a great opportunity to: experience a juried selection process, potentially exhibit artwork in a group show, and possibly receive a cash or purchase award.  

Artists are invited to submit a maximum of three pieces for consideration.  Submission fees are only $1 per work!

To help expedite the submissions process, artists are expected to read the exhibition guidelines and complete their submissions paperwork/artwork ID tags in advance of arrival for artwork drop off.  That information can be found at the WUD Art Committee website.  

Drop off at Gallery 1308, Union South
Friday, March 13; 2-5 p.m.

Saturday March 14; 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The Opening Gala will be held Friday, March 20th from 6-8pm in Gallery 1308 at Union South (1308 W Dayton St, Madison).  Award selections will be announced at 7pm.  Artists are encouraged to invite family and friends to attend the event.
