i. Prompt: The legendary peace activist Mahatma Gandhi, a five-time Nobel

Prize nominee, insisted that “you must be the change you wish to see in

the world." Nelson Mandela, a Nobel Prize winner, pointed to the

importance of education in helping "you" bring about this change:

"education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world."

With these two statements in mind, discuss how your liberal arts education

is preparing you to be an effective agent of the change you wish to see in

the world.
