Brittingham Viking Scholarship

Are you interested in studying abroad in Helsinki, Finland during the Spring 2014 semester AND to become a part of a prestigious international family of UW-Madison alumni?! Then you should apply for the Brittingham Viking Organization (BVO) Finnish scholarship. The Brittingham Viking Organization has been making academic, social and professional connections between UW-Madison and Scandinavia for more than 50 years. Since its founding in 1953, the organization has expanded to allow select students from the University of Wisconsin - Madison to travel to Nordic countries to study at acclaimed universities and experience Nordic cultures and the 'Viking Spirit' through home-stays with previous scholarship recipients. The scholarship amounts to approximately $10,000 USD, which typically covers tuition, housing and a travel stipend for the transatlantic flight.
