2015-2016 UW System Liberal Arts Essay Competition
Do you enjoy writing? Are you looking for scholarships for next school year? Enter the UW System Liberal Arts Essay Competition!
This year's competition focuses on the purpose of higher education. Students in the competition are to write a letter to the editor of their hometown paper that stakes out and defends a certain position. (Please see link at the bottom for the exact prompt).
The Madison campus will select 2-3 semi-finalists who will each receive a $500 scholarship and then be entered into the system-wide competition for two $2,000 awards.
All UW-Madison students in good standing (3.0 GPA) are eligible to enter.
The deadline for entry is January 25, 2016.
